Stockholm Open 2009

For the second time ever Malavé Do had some kids that would fight. Marco, Elisabeth, Aya and Klara were all very nervous but did all look forward to fight! We grownups did first fight on Sunday (Joanna, Karen, Julia, Antoine and me).

The kids did much better than last year and Elisabeth and Aya succeeded in taking a bronze each.

On Sunday we took 1 gold, 1 silver and two bronze medals as everything was finished. The day was very very long and as we finally could fight I was already really tired. Especially as I had been coaching all Saturday. But anyhow this competition was not all hell as we actually bet the Norwegian team which had won the Copenhagen Open just weeks before. And we ended up with gold in the end.
